On my 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP if I open door power window is roll 3 inch down.if i am closing door window is not going up.where is problem or where i can deactivate rolling window 3 inch down and using only switches on door panels???

might try spraying white lithium grease on the slides and open and close few times my g6 did the same thing grease it and open and closed a few times then it work

I believe you are thinking of the wrong kind of valve. You do not have solenoid valves, you have mechanical valves that open and close off of the lobes of the camshaft.

maybe the mother board in you car has a fried chip. Or your computer system needs a specific look see from the dealer

i think inside of your car's door there is looseness with glass and machanism who make possible your glass up-down . it's up to you repair it by yourself or contact to your car workshop.

if the window isn't automatically rolling up when u shut the door u can reset the memory by turning till ur dash lights are on only don't start the car , then hit the window up button for few seconds then down button few seconds after the window is down then roll the window up should be fine

OMG. I replaced the battery in my 06 G6 and had the same problem. the windows would not roll up or down how they did before. I read the answers on here and it does work. Hold up the window switch for ten seconds and it resets. You will have to do it to each window. Worked great. Thanks

you will not alter the steering angle more that what you have
however you can raise the seat
get a piece of RHS x 1/8" thick ( comes is dimension 1x1", 2x2", 2x1" and 3x1") and by drilling new bolt holes for where the seat runners are , you can raise your seat up to 3"
Any body with mechanical experience can do it for you or get an engineering shop to make the bits for you
