I have a 2005 Chrysler Town abd Country Touring that I just pirchased used. Are the hazard lights supposed to go off everytime one of the side doors are opened?

If there is no power at either connector on the window the first place I would look is the harness that goes in between the hatch and the body. It is pretty common for the wires to break in that area.
for the sliding door,check the wiring that is housed in the plastic chain at the bottom of the door.the problem with the window may be the switch in the driver door
check the bulbs do not have fractured filaments,and check the headlamp relay.check the sockets for corrosion and if all that checks out ok check the connection on the back of the headlight switch and the daytime running light module
