You need to back bleed the system.
snapon and parts stores sell a bleeder but for many year i have use just a simple pump oil can and a hose to connect to your bleeder fill your oil can with brake fluid and with the cover off you master. now just pump fluid up therw your master .
I have a similar prob. I was told this as a solution. The man telling me this said to have bleedeer loose when this was done but of course it leaked fluid out and prob. let air in. I assume then that the bleeder should be left tight. Does this then mean that the oil can can create enough pressure to force the check ball in enough to allow the oil inwards and thru the rest of the system?
