There should be a 25amp fuse running from your battery...check if its blown. more than likely thats your problem

2004 Dodge Ram 1500 four-wheel drive automatic factory Air Cruise tilt 5.7L engine, I need to know how to hard wire the blower motor

1am
the blower has 2 pins
the blower is just 12vdc brush motor,
and 1pin is ground and one is 12vdc
  • unplug it first or cause a nice fire.
  • then hot wire it. if wired backwards the motor turns backwards
if blower is weak reverse the connections.
Id use a 30amp fuse as the jumper plus wire, inline fuse
unless brave, and fuse-less.
if brave unplug it when done, do not just walk away from hot wired any thing.
be safe ok> and GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!

Heater/ac fan does not blow on 2002 chevy cavalier.

check for a blown fuse. If no luck, using a jumper wire connect the blower motor wire directly to the POS. side of the battery. If still no activity replace the motor. If you get activity Check control off and on switch

I have a dodge ram 3500 deisel pick up. The heater fan just quit. What do I do?

Check your fuse's first, replace if burnt out, test for power to fan motor using voltmeter. Test motor continuity same way to make sure this still works. Check that nothing is obstructing the fan down inside the vent, Blow out with air-hose (be careful)

1997 Dodge ram 2500 deisel. Blower fan wont come on. replaced climate control module and fuse is ok. Is there an inline fuse or relay I'm missing?

if the fuse is ok your next step is to see if you have power at the heater fan switch,if you do then the next thing is the heater blower motor resister it is under the heater assembly, that is what gives you different speeds,
the last is test for power at blower motor to see if it is faulty

92 Dodge stealth radiator coolong fan does not turn on. Where is the heat sensor and how do you check to see if it is working?

Look for the obvious first. Blown Fuse, Burned Fan Relay.
To test, disconnect the Fan plug in, run 1 x Pos. and 1 x Neg. of 12 or 14 gauge wire from the Battery, directly to the Fan Motor, and it should energise.
The Sensor for the Fan is on the Engine. This is a 2 contact threaded switch, which is Normally open, and make circuit contact copletion when the cooling system heats up, energising the Fan Motor.
This Fan should also operate when the A/c is in operation also, independent of the Coolant side.
[eg] When setting off, from home on a Hot day, the A/c is on , long before the Engine heats up

Blower motor will not work , changed out switch module, but nothing. Whats next?

In my experiences 9 out of 10 times you will have a damaged wire or bad connection either going to the module or from the module to the blower. with the key and air/heat switch on first wiggle the wires to see if you get anything then you'll know what your problem is. If that doesn't bear any results get a test light and check for power at head unit, both sides of module wiring and at blower itself (you can refer to your vehicle's service manual for wiring diagrams if needed). If you still don't have any luck disconnect wiring from blower motor and run a jumper to make sure blower actually still works. If nothing ultimately works you either need a new wiring harness and/or a new blower motor or a new control unit. Let me know if you how this works out for you I'll try to help further if necessary.

2004 Dodge Durango blower fan does not work

If your blower only worked on high before it quit, or didnt work on high before it quit,

You probably have a faulty blower motor resistor assembly. The part number is 04885635ab If you look on the bottom of the motor housing on the passenger side (about where the passenger toes would point) you will see a wire harness that is a long oval in shape and has 5 or 6 wires in it. You will need a 7 or 8mm 1/4 inch drive socket with a u-joint attachment. on the firewall side of the connector, there is a sliding lock that keeps the connector on the plug. you will have to slide the lock toward the drivers side and the squeeze a small blak tab to pull the connector off of the plug. Once the connector is off, use the socket to remove the 2 screws. It will drop right down once the screws are removed. Once it is removed, it looks like a 2 inch by 3 inch by 16th of an inch thick piece of metal with a plug on it. The resistor pack dissipates ALOT of heat so do not take it out until the truck has been off for 30 minutes or so. I priced the part at a dealership for $12.77

Heater fan inoperable

Could be the fuse or the relay control, unhook blower motor and use a jumper wire with 12volts to make sure the problem is not the fan motor.then check the fuse, relay, and lastly the blower motor resistor
