Where is the fuel pump at? and can i fix it manually? or do i HAVE to put it in the shop?
THE FUEL PUMP IS BEHIND THE FUEL FILTER UNDER THE BACK FRAME PLATE. IF YOU TAKE OFF THE BACK DRIVER SIDE TIRE YOU CAN SEE IT THERE
The fuel pump is on the just to the left of the rear diffrental. You could see it from the left rear wheel well. follow the fuel line from the fuel fliter which is located just in front of the left rear wheel. it is placed there so that it can be replaced easily. about 1 2hr job for a do it yourself. make sure you have a emply fuel tank or you crimp the fuel line from the tank or else you will have fuel all over the ground. I have replaced it on both of my jaguars. 90 xj6 and 89 vanden plas.
I think it is in the fuel tank. You can do it yourself if you get a book. Make sure you empty out all the gas before you drop the tank, it will make your life alot easier. I f you are at all handy with tools you can save yourself 300-1000 dollars by doing it your self
