2003 alero. Low beam headlight out. I purchased a new bulb 9006 it does not work. There is power at the socket. Could I have purchased the wrong bulb? Should it have been a 9005? all fuses good highbeam...

The wrong one or the one you bought is bad. With so many different bulbs now, it isn't hard to get the wrong one, especially if the parts guy got it for you. The only way to make sure it is right is to pull the other bulb and check the number.

My daylight and hi-beam are failed in the same time but the indicator of hi-beam in the dash still work

You probably need new headlight bulbs. Buy a set of 9006 and 9005 bulbs at walmart and replace them, or have one of the employees do it. If that does not fix the problem, you have a relay problem that should be fixed at the dealership.

Head lights dont work

Um Replace the bulbs. The type of bulb to get is the 9006, 9005 is for the high beams.

No headlights only high beams

Both the low beam bulbs must be defective.
People at Jiffylube change headlight bulbs while you wait, if you are not up to the task.

How do i replace a low beam head light on a 94' camry ?

Things You'll Need:
  • #H11-55W and #9005 replacement bulbs (low- and high-beam bulbs for 2007 and later models)
  • #9006 and #9005 replacement bulbs (low- and high-beam bulbs for 2002-2006 models).
STEPS TO REPLACE HEAD LIGHT: Shut off the Camry's engine and set the parking brake for added safety. Also, make sure its headlights are switched off. Open the hood using the primary and auxiliary hood release latches. Locate the back of the headlight assembly and determine whether the low- or high-beam bulb needs to be replaced. Turn the headlight bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it from the assembly. Unplug the electrical connector from the back of the bulb. Carefully dispose of the bulb to prevent it from shattering or cracking.

I have to replace lightbulbs in headlights, what kind and how to replace, never done before

It all depends on if your model had the sealed beams (one piece) or the capsule style (bulb comes out of back)

If it's sealed, you need H6054 - There should be two to four screws either on the front of the assembly or the back of the assembly that secure the lamp to the body. I can't remember where exactly they are, but if you buy the lamp, you'll see exactly where the screws go into

If it's capsule - you need 9006 for the lows and 9005 for the highs - Pop the hood and remove the cap covering the back of the headlight and you can change it (don't touch the bulbs as getting oil on them will cause them to explode)

What is the part name and number for the headlights to a Buick Century 2002?

Hello pala_tata: My name is Roger and I will answer your question. If you want the name of the lamp bulb they are called headlamp bulbs. The part number for the low beam is a 9006. The bulb for the high beam is a 9005. If you are wanting the name of the unit? The correct name of them are composite head lamp assembly. The GM part number for the left lamp is 10319777.
