We have a thule weekender roof box and roof bars but nothing to fit the box to the bars, what do we need, what are they called ?? Please help. Thank You

like ANY roof rack cargo, it will be cumbersome. is it safe? it depends if you installed it properly and how fast you drive. i carried a pw50 (standing up)on top of my wifes rx300 from illinois to california...it didnt budge or made severe noises.
