Fan 1 and 2 relay, and the 1655 is evap purge solenoid, the fan relays going bad can cause the car to run hot or overheat, check for broken vacuum lines and replace the purge solenoid if needed.

SOURCE: 96 Buick Century can't pass imisions code P1441

P1441, EVAP Emissions System Flow During Non-Purge.
you seem to have an evap problem these problems are hard to diagnose sometimes it can only be the gas cap or maybe rust around the seat of the gaz cap
get the code erase and see if it comes back on and if it does check gas cap and arroung the filling neck if there is rust if no visible rust apears you will have to get it check with smoke to see where it leaks

hope it will help you

SOURCE: Need to replace tail light bulb on 1996 Buick Century

Inside the trunk, under the carpet behind the tail lights will be a whole bunch of small plastic nuts, running from one side of the car to the other. Take all of these plastic nuts off, and the whole tail light assembly will come off in one large piece. Find the bulb you need to replace, and reassemble

Check for leaks in the brake lines and calipers or brake cylinders. If leaking have it repaired right away its not safe. Change the brake fluid, take the old fluid out add new fluid or have it professionally done.

SOURCE: "91 Buick Century needs a mass air flow sensor

If you need to replace your MAS sensor, try CLEANING it first, this may fix your problem before you decide to replace the part. Remove the MAS sensor and clean it with MAS cleaner. You can find the cleaner at your local auto parts store. Watch this "how to" video to guide you through this process. IF YOU FOUND THIS INFORMATION HELPFUL, PLEASE VOTE.

1996 buick century, I had a tune up and egr valve

Have an auto parts store check for the code. It is possible that you have a bad O2 sensor or your catalytic converter is clogged.

1996 buick century 3100 motor engine light on

Was it a code for a small or large Evap leak? The first thing i check when ever i get a car in with an evap code is to make sure the gas cap is in place and closed tight. Then i take the cap off and give it a good visual inspection. Look for cracks in the plastic or deterioration of the gasket. Replace with an OEM part if you find a problem. Otherwise clear the code and see if it returns. If it returns it can get a bit tricky as there are many parts to the evap system and the codes aren't very specific. The use of a smoke machine which pumps pressurized smoke into the evap lines is extremely useful but obviously the average DIY'er won't likely have access to one.

The radio in my 1996 Buick century had a clock light that did not go off when the car was shut off, so the battery would go dead after 2 days. Disconnected the radio and all was well. Getting ready for a new radio now.

1999 Buck Regal Stalls While Driving

Possible solution to stalling '99 Buick. My '99 Buick Century would die for no apparant reason with no error codes. After 4 days at a Buick dealership and many frustrated mechanics, the problem was corrosion from under the battery location. The wiring harness had small amounts of corrosion internally. Check the wiring under the battery for any corrosion. This has been the problem on more than 1 vehicle that we are aware of. No service bulletin has been issued by Buick.
