Won't start as in no rotation of the starter motor and no clicking sound? Or starter turns slowly with the engine? Or the starter and engines turns normally but will not start? Or starter turns normally but engine will not turn?

It turns to accesory, the lights work... I cannot turn the key at all to start it, the steering wheel is locked tight wheels are turned to the left. I even tried to use the hold in the brakes to start and checked the gear shift, it's not turning to start. I know it ran yesterday because my husband moved it but since then it won't let me turn the key to start =(

Have someone check your ignition switch.

SOURCE: battery has been tested and

you my have a bad starter ? but first check to see if you have a good ground on the engine block and make shure your battery ends are clean and good and tight...if these things are all good, if you can see and get to the starter tap on it with a hammer not to hard...sometimes this will loosen up carbon on brushes enought to start...Hiope this helps??

SOURCE: Vibration at 70 MPH.

Warped or out-of balance brake rotor? Also keep in mind that loose rear differential trailing arms that allow the rear differential to squirm around can also cause steering wheel shake.

Key won't turn, won't shift from Park

My 2003 Saturn l200 2.2 ecotec did this when the battery was dead. Put some juice on the battery, then the car came out of park, and I was able to remove the key. To the car, there's a vast difference between a sluggish battery and a dead battery. It may have enough amps to crank it, but it wont start w/out full output from the battery.

My horn sounds off and won't stop 'til I disconnect battery cable. Why?

sounds like there's a short in your wiring in the steering column, A lot of times with a tilt wheel a wire get loose or gets a short in it. the steering wheel may have to come off to fix the problem but make sure to disconnect the airbag first, I'm not sure what vehicle you have so I don't know where to tell you to look for the connection, may be best to take to a dealership if possible. Hope this helps.

Steering wheel won't lock, key won't come out

If the ignition normally only locks with the vehicle in park position, then check the switch on the gear lever mechanism is working.
If not, then you'll have to jiggle and wiggle that key out or replace the ignition lock.

Ignition key won't turn Hyndai VeraCruz

I have a 2011 Hyundai Veracruz and for no reason my steering wheel locked in position and the key would not turn. I tried everything for over an hour and then thought about disconnecting the battery to let all the electronics reset. I prayed about the situation and had other things to do so I left the battery disconnected for about an hour and when I returned connected the battery and magically (or a God answered prayer) the problem was solved steering wheel turned, key turned and engine started.

When I put the key in and hold the steering wheel it won't unlock and my key won't turn

the steering wheel has a locking devise released by the key when starting, at times the wheel is turned in a way that keeps pressure on the lock that makes turning the key harder, this is the same in most cars, so a little jiggle of the wheel will make turning the key much easier, please take a moment to rate my reply Good Luck
