One of my vehicles started making a rather disturbing sound so I went to investigate and to hopefully fix it.
A slipping belt makes a loud squeaking noise when the engine is running. The belt needs to be changed if it is cracked or fraying on the side, or if it begins to slip.
Hi, You need to get the engine mounts especially in this case the front one replaced, the quicker the better as you only end up with more problems if left to long. Please leave me feed back: Malcolm Campbell, Thanks.
The noise is coming from the rear HVAC unit, one of the actuators for the blend door is trying to move but is unable. Either the blend door is stuck or the actuator is bad.
Check the oil! A ticking noise is most commonly a sign that there's a lack of oil running through the motor. Start the car and listen for general vicinity of the ticking noise. If the oil is fine and the noise is coming from the engine, there are oil additives that will quiet the noise. Ticking is also a sign of an old motor (guessing you have about 150K on this car) I hope this helps clarify your problem and wish you well with your car. All the best! Greg p.s. I would say this is to do with the alarm system , the alarm modual is inside the drivers front wing.To get in to inspect it means the removal of the front wheel arch liner , or the plastic cover.. . This is a comon problem .
