SOURCE: I have a 2003 Galant GTZ 3.0L . batery is good and

if you've tested your battery and know you have a good connection at the terminals that one click sound is a bad starter. you may wish to attempt to tap on it while cranking to try to get it to start. if you do crawl under your car use jack stands to hold the car in the air. never leave a losd on the jack. safety first. if this was helpful please leave positive rating.

U may deal a low battery condition,as the jump worked on ur starter.
Ceck recharge alternator rate (alternator condition belt,plugs,ussualy gets a red worning on dash low charge rate)
.Ceck battery level(if apply)/clean connectors.Replace battery if ended.
Ceck for over draining condition (shortcircuit,lights/radio left on)

2000 dodge ram 1500 clicking and wont start batery is good, starter is good, lights are on dash as normal, still wont start, keeps on clicking

get a jump, take it to Auto Zone or other parts store, have them run a free diagnostic on the battery, and the alternator. My bet is that it's one of the two that needs replacement.

sounds like a bad battery, if you have an advance auto parts or autozone near you they will check the battery and alternator for free.

My 2004 grand Am V6 will not start. The key turns on all lights and does nothing else

check battery make sure it is 12.6 volts.have vechicle jump start if it starts battery probably weak if jump start dont work either starter solenoid or starter faulty or vechicle in theft security mode.besure to turn off radio first to keep from locking out radio when you disconnect negative battery cable to check battery and starter at the auto parts store .

Lancer cut out while driving. will turn over but will not start. it has fuel but no spark.

check mass air flow sensor or crank sensor. If those are not working then the car won't run. is there a check engine light on or a battery light on? obtain an obd2 scanner from an auto parts store and download the code. that will usually tell you everything you need to know. also, check to make sure youre actually getting fuel to the engine. you might have a weak fuel pump. prime the fuel pump a few times before trying to start the car by turning/cycling the key from off to on, not start*, in 2 second intervals a few times then try to start the car. you might be able to hear the pump running under the back seat.

Hi!!
You just need to jump start the vehicle and take it to an AutoZone, Checkers or similar auto parts store to have a FREE Starting and Charging system test.
What your battery have is 13.5 volts, enough to turn headlight and accessories on but not enough amps to crank the engine.

Is battery dead ? Can you jump start? If you can get it started by jumping it, take it to your local auto parts store and ask them to check your battery and alternator. They will usually do this for free.

Hmmmm, from what u say, sounds like everything is ok, but,Bad battery can run lights, radio, but trying to start, will make clicking noise. U jumped it to start, and it did, another sign of bad battery. How are the connections at battery? Tight and clean? No corrosion? Check wire to starter also to make sure it's ok. If all connections are clean and tight, I would recommend removing the battery, take to parts store for free check to see condition of battery (low charge, or if it's shot). If u jump start it, u can also have them check the alternator too (free). U indicate dash gauge @ 14, that should be good. Battery usually has a date 'thingy' on it that u peel off #'s to indicate when battery was purchased, does yours have the 'thingy?'
