I have a double white striped sticker going across the doors grand cherokee but it needs replacing - where can i get one from?

There is a Purple wire (it may have a white stripe so look it up) that runs to the driver door. you need to ground it to over-ride the alarm. Another way is to unlock and lock the tailgate twice in quick succession but that is only a temporary fix.

There should have been an instruction sheet with the replacement sensor that tells you which wire goes to which.
If there is no instruction sheet I would go back to the store and ask for a replacement.
Each brand of replacement sensor has a different configuration.

You need a wiring diagram to figure that out and we do not have them available here at fixya. Sorry.

Check this out, not the right year but i doubt that the procedure isn't very different.

they use whats called a leak detection pump they go bad a lot

you proberbly find that on one of the door pillars open one of the front doors and have a look down the insides there should be a sticker that tells you all you need to know
