My 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo has problems starting. Once it starts, you can turn the ignition off and on repetedlely with no problem. However, when I try to shift into drive,it stalls after it warms up. It has 160K miles on it. I know it will run 200K plus, what can you tell me?

Hi Eric, it sound to me like the modulator in the trans is faulty. This modulator is what controls the shifting in the trans. It details a 30 minmute repair by your transmission specialist. The replacement part should be around a hundred dls, plus the labor. While you are at it, have the filter changed in the trans for carefree shifting.

sounds like it time to have the front end balljoints inspected. Only with an inspection will you get the proper results. Why guess, this is a safety issue.
