How to wire a 12v plug into a 1992 toyota camry directly to the battery

My heater isn't working, when I turn the knob to control heat I get just air from the fan, and I am wanting to fix my cigarette lighter plug in, I have the part for it a new plug in and all my fuses are good, my dome light doesn't work either. So my question is can I wire my own separate lighter plug in, for a little heater that will help defrost my windows directly using a positive and the ground with an inline fuse so that I don't burn anything up, or can u tell me how I can fix the existing one and if there are any things I can check to see what is wrong with the heater core or if maybe i have a wiring harness loose behind the stereo that someone might have disconnected , I am needing help, thankyou for your time, I do appreciate the Help

I am puzzled here by this. If your heat isn't working it probably only means the cable to the hot water valve on the firewall has come loose or snapped. This valve is in line on the hose supplying heated coolant to the small heater core in the dash. See here p52

That heater core may have sludged up, less commonly, but you can backflush it from in the engine compartment.

You can wire one up directly to your battery from the pos and neg. I've got 3 wired up in my truck. I've also got a converter wired up to my battery.

SOURCE: 1995 camry wagon cigarette lighter not working

start with a test light and check for power at the center of the cigarette lighter socket. If power is good, then check for ground at side of lighter socket.
If no power, run wire from power wire of lighter to power wire of stereo, thus tapping the power directly and bothering to trace out where the open int he circuit may be.

Dude the wires at the trunk inside break from opening and closing. you must peel back the wires covering to expose and fix these wires.

Why Is my 1992 Toyota Camry blowing heat on the passenger side but NOT the drivers side?

Some ideas:
Under the dashboard, and way deep inside the large plastic box holding "all things heater" are some flaps, made of plastic, and often with foam rubber gaskets.
One of the flaps ( the one directing air to the driver's side) may be stuck or unhooked, or something else.
It will be a really big job to fix it, as the big box has to be removed to access all this.
(Perhaps a vacuum line has a leak, or a control wire has come unhooked, causing the heater to malfunction on the driver's side.)

Just lost power to lighter -

These Car Heaters will blow the Fuse or Burn the Hot wire to the Lighter every time. They were never Tested Properly for todays cars. Remove the Lighter and check the wires that go to the Lighter. Get a Flashlight and check the Fuses REALLY Close.

Heater is not works perfectly and missing idle speed

Too long to warm up: Replace the thermostat.

Misfire when warm: Replace plugs and wires.

This should help your issue out greatly.

A FixYa rating would really be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Air flow weak when set to heat

check for dirty cab air inlet or "HVAC" filter, or heater core is plugged from debris and air is being restricted and wont blow through. it works like a radiator, air ducts can also be getting stuck.

Heater

check the heater control valve. its a plastic valve in the engine compartment, ensure the cable is attached and also ensure that the valve moves when heat is selected. also it is possible that someone has bypassed the heater core due to a leak. check to make sure both hoses are still connected.
