1995 jeep wrangler just stops running without warning.

Sometimes when driving it will just stop running without any warning. i usually have to wait anywhere from 5mins to a hour...then it runs fine for a little while. then problem repeats itself. very dangerous. I have had the fuel pump checked. They said that it is working fine.

A bad crank sensor will shut the jeep off suddenly, while driving down the road, then restart later and it repeats over and over until you replace it.

SOURCE: 1995 Jeep Wrangler 2.5L Fuel Pump/Check engine light

Could be one of several items...I'd check the fuel pump relay, auto shutdown relay and the ignition switch itself. I'd bet on it being one of those relays but, we all have been fooled at least once!!! I'd also make sure that body and engine grounding is good and clean. Relays can't work properly without a good ground.

Put the key in the ignition and turn it on and off (3) times without starting the jeep, leaving it in the on position count the (1) flashing indicator Light, Eg: (5) flashes, Then there will be a pause, then it may flash (3) times, this is a code #53. Keep your Eye on them and write them down. If you should miss (1) Repeat as many times as needed, Info: A #55 means there are no codes!!

SOURCE: I've owned two 1997 Jeep Wranglers and eventually

Hi,
This is a broad spectrum of possibilities. I would first start with a simple approach of insuring good gas.
When these symptoms occur, get a bottle of fuel additive and add to your tank. Possibly you have some condensation issues. This could be just the ticket... I hope so. Good luck.

My 1995 jeep will die just driving and sometimes will start right back up other times you have to wait about an hour. fuel pump is working fine you can hear it

The pump can be running but not pumping any fuel.
When it stops running you will need to figure out if you are loosing spark to the plugs or fuel to the injectors.

2002 Jeep wrangler has water pouring out of the front of the engine when stopped, but slows to a drip when running. Whats going on?

Without actually seeing it, educated guess is that the water pump is leaking. Sometimes as they go bad, coolant pressure will push the seal tighter on the shaft and slow the leak while running.

Sputters when i first take off

You need to replace the throttle position sensor. This is a very easy fix that shouldn't take more than half an hour. At the base of the intake tube into the throtle body there is a simple two wire conector to your T.P.S. and two Torx bolts. the part should be about $50 and i wouldn't pay more then $60 to have it replaced.
