SOURCE: Replace the window control switch on a 1998 Lincoln Towncar

there are several kinds on these cars. first, unhook negitive battery cable. if it has screws, simply unscrew them and pull out panel. unplug switch and replace. another kind is snapped in place. take small flat head screwdriver and carefully pry it up and out. if you are to afraid to do this, fearing it might break, have a pro do it. good luck.

SOURCE: I have a 2001 Lincoln Towncar. The air bag light comes on

1st when the airbag light is on the system is disabled, so if u have an accident they will not work, as to the common cause read below.
When the airbag light is on it means a fault has occurred in the system and the airbag diagnostic monitor has disabled the system, the most common problem that turns the light on is a break in the connection to the steering wheel mounted airbag, this is due to a rotating ribbon contact that breaks under the steering wheel that connects the airbag to the wiring harness and the diagnostic monitor, the part is called th clock spring contact, a coiled up ribbon electrical contact that turns with the wheel

SOURCE: Cannot control my AC blower on my 2001 Lincoln

sounds like your switch contacts are shorted closed.. try disconnecting the switch for inspection and use a volt ohm meter to inspect switch across contacts...

Testimonial: "At first the blower stop working. When I ran a separate ground directly to the fan motor it worked but then I found out I had no control. "

SOURCE: I have a 1994 Lincoln towncar the driver window

better if you take it to a mechanic but if you really need to know you just take off the door panel then you take off the bolts then take off the electrical switch. once you recieve the new part you do these steps backwards..

2001 LINCOLN TOWNCAR, HOW TO DRAIN WATER IN PASSENGER FLOORBOARD, ARE THERE PLUGS?

There should be rubber drain plugs under the car's carpet (I believe the Lincoln has screw in ones)look under car and pull the plugs and let car dry out completely replace and seal the plugs and any other pin holes you might have in the floor also I believe the fresh air intake when malfunctioning will allow water to fill in car when driving in rain (should be on rear right side of car water will come into if fresh air intake is not working properly (

My 2000 lincoln towncar, 2000, gets soak and wet on the floorboards every time it rains hard. I've been told it has something to do with the moon roof vents. I don't know what to do about it

Clear the drain tubes with compressed air. one on each side of the window at the back. But they can only let so much water out. If the seal on the window is bad, they won't be able to handle all the water, will leak inside. Those seals aren't cheap and are a pain to replace. If you don't use or need it to open. Shut it and silicone it on top. This will stop your problem.

2003 lincoln towncar the back floorboard fills up with water. I have taken out everything in back, tried to find the pipe that takes out water for the sun roof, everytime it rains or I drive in it it fills...

quickest way is too drill a hole in the floor ,what comes in can go out again .now as for finding the leak ?? the last one i done was a nissan and i had to try to poke a thin wire down it and blow it through with a airline ,their was four water outlets on that car two at the front and two at the back ,the fronts dripped out at the front and the rears run down the centre door pillars.
