I have a 2002 town and country that one day decided to go into limp mode. Codes both 0700 and 1684 were showing up. I changed both the input and output shift speed sensors. Now just code 1684 is showing up. But still in limp mode! How frustrating! I took it to Autozone to have a free dianostic done to it after I replaced the two speed sensors and the only thing that showed up was Solenoid B. How do I get my van out of limp mode??? Somebody please help!!!

Try getting a new shift solenoid for it. i had the same problem on my 2002 chrysler town and country and my plymouth breeze which is also a dodge product. it is very simple to do and doesnt take all that long. the part will probably run you about 150 to 200 dollars but it should fix your problem.
P1694 means the battery has been disconnected in the last 50 starts. It could also show up perhaps if the battery is dying or providing low voltage. It can also indicate that the computer memory was cleared in the last 50 starts. Its typically just a status indicator and I would not expect it go into limp home mode unless there is a problem with the battery and its not able to supply the necessary power to engine components.
