More then likely, the switch arm will have to be replaced, everything that contyrols your wipers and cruise are built into that left arm.

I hope this helps you.

What causes my cruise controll to not work intermittenly

cruise control starts working above 50kmh, so if your under that it wont work. the cruise servo may be at fault, or I have seen battery acid leak down on the vacuum lines causing cruise not to work correctly. cruise control works off of a vacuum so without it, it wont work. if the cruise light doesn't turn on when pressing the set/cruise button intermitantly it may be the switch itself that is starting to fail

Wipers not working

Could be a relay. Look at your wiring diagram. Swap relay with one of the same number, see if it cures the problem.

Cruise control on 2008 chrysler sebring is not working what is the solution?

Hi Vada, I'm glad to help!

Vada, in the earlier years cruise control used to be very easy to find problems and repair the issue. NOW, with multiplex wiring and confusing calculated computer controlled cruise control its much harder to find what caused the issue are caused the cruise not to work at all. Most of the time though, when the computer gets confused about the calculations it also stops that component from working. SO, the first thing we do as technicians is to clear all codes with our scanner and see if the wipers start working again if they do this means the computer was simply confused. NOW, sense you don't have a scan tool you can try this: remove the negative battery cable for 20 seconds then reinstall it and see if the wipers are working. If they still are not working then they will need to be checked by a technician. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Vada.

02 TB, cruise control works intermittently, now wipers wont come on

Debbie, this sounds to me to be the control arm that turns your wipers on and also has the cruise control operation also on the lever, When this wears out you can have weird symptoms, sometimes the wipers will work and the cruise wont and sometimes the other way around. On the starting issue, it sounds like the ignition switch on the column is worn out sometimes making contact and sometimes not. If the vehicle has a ton of miles on it these plastic parts wear out and need replacing.

1990 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup. Windshield wipers, Cruise Control

May want to look at replacing the wiper circuit board. It is located on the firewall adjacent to the wiper motor and has a some what square black cover with 3 torx screws and wireing harness pluged into the side.We had a truck that every time you washed it the wipers would stay on until it dryed out.You can try removing it and spaying it down with contact cleaner just watch the brease on the two contact tips.Well hope this helps.

1991 Maxima cruise control cuts out.

I had a problem with the interlock switch located on the brake pedal. There are too switches one for the brake lights and one dedicated to the cruise control. If either switch is acting up it will affect the cruise control. Then interlock switch is the same switch that is used on the clutch with cars that have a manual transmission. It has smaller electrical terminals in the connector than the brake light switch. You can jumper the connection and see if it solves the problem. You still have the other switch that will disengage the cruise control when you hit the brake. If that is the problem then that's the one you need to replace.
