You have separate fuses for high/low beams. Check that.

SOURCE: low beam headlights go out when switched from high beam

Check the fuse. There is a fuse block under the hood as well as on on the passenger side forward of the door jam, close to the loorboards. If thats not the problem try pulling the switch and make sure that it is not warn out. The switches inside are not what you may think and if you remove it you will see how easy it could fail. Try replacing the switch.

SOURCE: Jeep Headlights not working. High beam works

had the same problem on my 92....check under the hood on the drivers side, towards the front, there is a "junction box" with all of the lighting wires connecting from the switches to the lights. My wires were all corroded inside,so I cleaned the ends and bought a new box from the local electronic supply store. The problem has not come back.

try taking your tilt steering(steeringwheel) and check which setting its on if the tilt steering is all the way down click it up to the next setting and then try your low beams if that still doesn't work try it one more click up you might have a short or pinched wire in your wheel colum

How do I fix problem with my right side low beam headlight on 2007 jeep Liberty

Check the wiring on that light. Also check the bulb with a couple of wires to the battery, or swap the bulb left to right to make sure the new bulb is okay.

Passenger side low beam light not working,

there are 2 lamps. both dead, (shoe drops)......
low beam dead on both sides?

most cars have 2 fuses. so if one side shorts, your not blinded.
check fuses first.
if fuses measure 0 ohms, they are good. (DMM , low ohms range)

if problem is more complex. then that.
we can find it in 5min with any voltmeter ever made. 1920 to now.
got a meter? (walfart has em,)

How to adjust UK headlights in jeep grand cherokee 99-04? Can one adjust lences to meet european standards?

The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

For Low Beams: If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall.

The lenses themselves cannot be adjusted to conform between left hand and right hand drive. The reflector or projector of a left hand drive vehicle is designed to throw more light towards the right side of the vehicle and vice versa for right hand drive vehicles.

Headlight headache

Soounds like you have a wire problem. Look under your dash at the headlight switch and the connector for any melting....repair as necessary. Look also around the headlight wiring....sounds like you have a wire that is shorting out.
