you actually have a few different fuse locations. the main fuse box is located inside the glove box. open the glove box and look up. you should see 2 white tabs. twist them either clockwise or counter clockwise 1/4 turn.the panel should then be exposed. a sheet with the fuses and descriptions should be there to.

It will be with your owners documentation packet that includes the operating manual on a card in the radio guide booklet ( I just leave one in the glove compartment. The bimmer comes with two plastic cards displaying the radio unlock code for your radio. If you don't have or can't find the code in the radio booklet/packet, then you can get the code with your VIN (vehicle identification number) through a BMW dealership or a BMW Technician with access to the list. There are even Members of BMW forums that will provide your code via the VIN, but either way this will only work for the original radio (hopefully yours hasn't been replaced).
I bought a replacement radio for my 750 and I wrote the code down in several locations and I suggest you do the same when you get yours, as it's no fun guessing at it as you get three tries and have to leave the radio sit without power for over an hour before it will let you enter another code again and there are 1.000 possible codes.
Good luck.

The problem is that your roof(SOFT TOP) lid isnt closing properly. If you open the roof lid you see there is a button on one of the latches that tells the car that the roof is securely closed if your roof lid is not secure the trunk wont open. To test this press down on the roof lid and the try to open the trunk.

SOURCE: How do you reset the motor and anything else?I
Happens alot. If you or someone pulls the interesting red strap under the rear seat, you have to do a reset. You have a small shot at just re-engaging the motors but will probably have to do a full reset. Take the back seat out and push lever back into the correct position. If you have a semi auto top (have to manually unlock top where it meets the windshield), lift the top back until you can pull up the back of the top to access tonnau cover. If it is a fully auto top, you have to pull out the cover at the very front of the headliner to access manual crank port. There should be a small allen wrench in the trunk tool box. You have to crank and crank and crank until the top is slightly open. You can then lift the back of the top to access tonneau cover. Both top types are the same from here on. Lift up on the tonneau cover and stow the top. Have a friend (or a heavy tool box) push down on the front part of the cover on the passenger side. You will hear a click. This will allow you to open the trunk. There are two motors located in the driver side rear quarter panel. You have to take out the covers hiding them. One motor is sort of in a horizontal placement under the pan where the top is stowed. Push up on this to re-engage. Other motor is in a vertivle orientation and at the driver side rear quater panel. You have to sort of grab the motor with both hands and pull it back into engangement with a gripping motion. Close the trunk. Push the switch to close the top (forward) and hold it down. Insert the key and turn it two clicks (accessory). After about 10 - 15 seconds you will hear the tonneau cover close and then open and the top closes. Let it cycle through and you are done. Hope that helps!
