there is currently a recall being performed on altimas and there is also a updated crank position sensor check with your dealer for open recalls on your vehicle (its just a phone call away have your vin # ready (located on left bottom of windshield if your facing it from in front of vehicle it is on lower right side of windshield - also look on driver door jamb.

it could be a bad belt or signs that the fuel pump is getting weak put some STP gas treatment in the gas tank make sure you have at least a half a tank of gas before you do this ask yourself when was the last time you changed the fuel filter

try here in alicante spain?? 30c ,so i know what its like.you have a problem somewhere along the line,either low fuel pressure or a the sensor on the opposite side of the throttle linkage ,check all the little vacumn pipes fist for a air leak and the induction pipe from the air filter too the manifold it could be split and the air flow metering valve isnt reading right

im not exactly sure when anything was done to this car sadly i just bought it at a used car dealership only had it about 2 weeks! i called him n told him about the problems and he pretty much told me its my problem to figure out :/ but i plan to take it to the nissan dealership to have it tested
