Vents blow out cold air instead of heat.

My L200 2002 wont blow out any heat out of the vents only cold. I will be hooking up a car chip too see if it will tell me anything ? I haven't try anything else and I'm wonder if it has too do with heater motor resister pack ? But it does blow cold air out, so I wouldn't think it would be the fan. I will be looking for broken are disconnected air line to the compartment but I don't kown where that is ? Any help will do. Thanks

Check for a vaccumn line in the engine compartment that may have come loose or has a cracked rubber connector. The a/c system depends on vaccumn line to open and shut the dampers

SOURCE: 2001 Saturn L200 heat only blows high. A/c out.

Sounds like a possible broken/ripped/disconnected air line (hose) to the compartment.

SOURCE: radiator cooling fan 30 amp. fuse keep blowing

The fan may run with jumper wires but if it''s blowing the 30 Amp Maxifuse it's needs a new or used fan motor.It's pulling too many amps.I have almost never seen a fan relay concern.Only other thing you may check is the wiring down near the fan shoud I have seen the 2 wires get loose from the conduit & melt onto exhaust manifold.Hope tHis Helps

check cooling fan operation while ac on.If fan is working proper,will probably have stuck exspantion valve.

If it happened all of a sudden, check the fan belt, and the A/C fuse. These are the most likely culprits. If the fuse is blown, the clutch on the A/C compressor may have gone bad, and should be looked at.

1999 saturn the ac is no longer blowing air at all no heat no cold air you can hear it turn on but nothing. What do I need to look for?

Vents won't blow hot or cold air. Comes from defrost and feet when you put fan on.
It's the vent actuator, it moves the baffle that changes the direction of the air flow.
Here is a video of a broken vacuum hose that creates the same problem.

It could also be a failed actuator.

see if the vent hoses for that side is hooked up on that side of the vent box sounds like its off

My heater does not blow in floor in a dodgeram 1500
the heater vacuum motor and lines needs to be checked.Also get the blend door checked.

When I excelerate my ventilation panel inside the cab starts blowing air out of the floor vent instead of blowing out of the front panel.
there is a vacuum can under the hood and if that is not hooked up or has a leak there is no vacuum reserve for the vent control valves so they go bad to a fail safe position

No heat jaguar 88 xj6 fan wont turn on cool air out the defrost vent
I have the similar problem with both my Jaguars, one is a 1988 Jaguar XJS, the other is a 1987 Jaguar XJ6, both blow COLD air out some vents while it blows warm air for heat. I heard it had something to do with the cold air blowing as a dehumidifier, I don't know if this is true, but it is really annoying to have both cold and warm air blowing when I need heat in these cold Canadian winters. common problem, check under dash by the gas pedal if control arms are muving went selecting from ac to heat cuz this it is the control for the vents to go from ac to heat and to defrost.
