Lost keys need to make a new key

Have the locksmoth pull a door lock and make a key to match. If the key code doenst match what they have on record for the car, thats the only way.

First of all, you can give the dealer your vin number and they can get the correct blank for your key. Remove one of the door locks by removing the door panel,lock rod and spring clip around the inside door lock. Take the blank and the lock cylinder to a locksmith and he can make you a new key.
As far as your battery is concerned, at your local parts house or Kragen auto store, pick up a device that plugs into your cig lighter that has a 9 volt battery on it. this will stop your after market alarm system from locking the doors. Jeeps did not come with that type of system from the factory.

Sounds like somewhere along the life of your jeep someone changed the ignition cylinder, resulting in your having two separate keys. You will have to replace the ignition cylinder and all or maybe just the one driver's side door lock cylinder. There's really no way one key will work with both your existing ignition and door locks. Another suggestion is that you can get a complete matching set of locks and keys from someone who's parting out their Grand Cherokee, so you would then have only one key for all the locks.

Hi,You can get new keys from any Jeep dealership.You'll need your ownership and the VIN number (vehicle identification number) That number is located under the windshield on the drivers side bottom corrner.Your best bet is call first to check if anyother information is needed.Good luck hope this has helped,if so please don't forget to rate me......

only the dealer can repair this, the Body control computer must be programmed to the new lock cylinder, there is no way around this.

go to nearest dealer and will have to purchase new fuel cap and they will be able to re-tumble new lock to your key and remove old cap

Call the dealership and they might be able to cut you a key if you give them your vehicle identification number.This will be cheaper and less trouble.Hope this helps.Good luck.

unless there is a key chip on the key you should have no problem otherwise the code will have to come directly from the dealership..if its a coded key otherwise i would say no problem ...is it the same key used to start the vehicle .but if you can get the lock cylinder out they should be able to concluding 2 separate keys or 1 that has no chip on it '

Try pulling the steering wheel "hard" to one side and holding it there whilst turning the key.
