SOURCE: driving fine suddenly stoped engine kicks but just wont start.

Hello;
Have you checked your fuel pump relay. It is located on the panel with the fuses under the hood. If the relay is not working, the truck will crank but not start. This is a typical problem of vehicles that run fine and then suddenly quit. Hope this helps, rate me highly please.
Thanks;

SOURCE: The truck was dying sometimes. We changed the fuel

i dont believe there is a fuel cutoff switch on that yr but you might want to check the pump take it out and wire it straight to the battery for a few seconds if it doesnt kick on and stay on then return the fuel pump... if it kicks on and stays on then you might want to consider a new sending unit as well as the pump it doesnt cost that much more and then you wont have that worry later down the road

SOURCE: Fuel Pump Fuse Blows. It first started when I

Open the hood. Those vehicles have a buss bar on the inside of the drivers side front fender. ( a buss bar is a strip of plastic, housing locations for wiring connectors running to various components on your car. They are secured to each post by a phillips head screw.) One of those locations is the "hot" for your fuel pump. If by chance you have an exposed section of that wire touching metal somewhere, it will blow the fuse. maybe someone has wired something else to it...causing it to blow.

SOURCE: wont start changed fuel pump

Spray some starting fluid into engine intake air duct while crankingengine over. If it tries to start good possiblity fuel pump is bad. (In fuel tank). However if it does not problem lies somewhere other than fuel system

Motor turns over but it wont start

It takes fuel, fire, and compression to start and of course you now days there are crank sensors and others that all work together. i would first listen in the filler cap to see if you can hear the fuel pump kicking on if it does then pull a spark plug out and leave it plugged in to the wire hold the threads to a ground bolt om the engine if no fire send another msg. what year make model and engine size is the vehicle to help with diagnosis

There's a ground strap that attaches to the frame and a ground wire that goes to the filler neck this needs to be connected or the ground will not work, also you could have blown your VCM/PCM 20 Amp fuse. There is also another ground wire that exits the harness, it will be the thicker of the 2 black wires just behind the drivers side front wheel well. this needs to be grounded to the frame as well, check for corrosion on this wire, road salts do wonders on these. You also need to check the relay. The underhood fuse box is where the relay is located. One of the relays there is for the fuel pump. It will show you on the fuse box lid on in your owners manual which one it is. It pulls out just like a fuse

My fuel gage is reading full at all times and the radio will not come on is this a fuse issue or two different issues?

You definitely have two different issues as the fuel gauge and radio are on different circuits. The radio could be a blown fuse, which would require finding a short circuit. The fuel gauge could be as simple as a bad connection at the sending unit or a lost ground on the fuel tank. Disconnect the fuel gauge at the tank and with a twelve volt test light well grounded probe the harness terminals with the key on (engine off). The fuel gauge should move when the sending unit wire is probed, and the test light should light dimly. Other terminals are a ground for the sending unit, a ground for the fuel pump, and power for the fuel pump. If the gauge moves when the sending unit wire is probed the problem is either the sending unit or a bad harness connection. If the gauge doesn't move during the probe there is a wiring problem (open circuit) or a bad dash gauge. Hope this helps.

2000 S10 4.3L Fuel pump stopped working out of the blue. We Put a new Fuel Pump in, new harnes to fuel pump, new fuel filter, new relay, new fuses in IGN C and ECM B fuses. Still the pump will not turn on....

At the fuel pump relay you should have 1 full time hot wire. 1 hot wire when you turn on the switch. 1 ground, and the other wire goes to the pump. Test the ground to be sure it is good. If so then jump a hot to the one that goes to the pump and see if it runs.If it does then you have a bad relay or ECM. You can swap the relay with another of the same # from tour fuse box to test it.There is also a ground on top of the frame near the filler neck, check it too. Good Luck
