Where is the engine number TRANSIT 90 PS T350

ask the main man ,love a transit myself ,,undoo the rear 4 bolts then the centre support if fitted (LWB) then just pull it out ,in my time many moons ago we took a old diesel tranny then fitted a V6 zodiac engine ,changed the diff unit for a MK2 zodiac one straight fit ,what a tool could outrun any police car except the V8 rover ..long story

run fault codes and check for accelerator position sensor and or MAP/MAF/VAF sensors

Sorry dealer only to read the software ,unlike the old V4 2.0 litre or the OHC engine .then the good old workhorse with the 2.4 york diesel these vans have become so complicated with the electronics i am at a loss .I remember when these vans first hit the market and they were great for bank robberies as they outran the police noddy cars ,and put a zodiac or capri V6 engine in one ?? with a mkII zodiac diff unit and on the motorway -- well fast

Check engine light come on?

check the mechanical timing on this and see if everything lines up .repost findings..

The fuse must be in the main fuse box. The position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you don't come right with these, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. To ease your search the tailight fuse it should be around 15 to 20 amps.

if it comes with a fuel cervo try replacing it... it may be a big help

have you tried bypassing the turbo to check if the turbo is helping? is the pump calibrated well? check all the hoses from the turbo especially the turbo boost compensator hose that goes to the injection pump or something like it

i have a 2001y reg transit tipper and i think the starter motor is going when i go to start it like grinds then some times it starts perfect
