Im looking for detailed instructions or diagrams on how to remove factory cd radio on 2002 yukon xl. Anyone out there that can help? Thanks.
All you gotta do is carfully pry the dash panel off (prying from the far left end is easiest) completely remove panel. then there are 2 clips that hold the factory sterio in place. push on the both clips while pulling the radio out. simply disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the radio. using an adapter avaliable at your local radio shop (scosche p/n gm02, mdarb and gm1483b) wiring harness, dash install kit, and antenna adapter. then simply match the colors on the new radio's harness to the adapter harness, crimping each connection with a "but plug". then simply follow the instructions included with the dash install kit to assemble the kit.connect the antenna adapter to radio, plug in all cables. test to see if everything works properly before the final install. install sterio into dash install kit, re installing kit where origional radio was. then simply put the panel back in its place by firmly pushing on it untill it snaps into place. then enjoy your new radio!
I think theres more to that, I had to take mine Yukonto stereo shop were one the worksthere moved or flipped a switch on, because the musicwouldnot play outta the speakers

how to change fluid in yukon 2002 xl 6.0
I have a 2002 Yukon XL. The transmission started slipping in all gears. Restarting the Yukon temporarily resolves the problem.
