Where is the horn located under the hood of my 2008 chevy truck?

2008 Chevy Silverado 2500HD we are trying to install a new horn, but can't find it under the hood. please help.

    No, I did't find yet. Still looking. It didn't go out, my nephew bought me a louder one for Christmas.

    I bought a truck from my friend. The PRND321 is not shining at all. The mileage, however is, and these two are separated from each other. I called a dealership and they could not help me out. Any way I could easily fix this? Bad fuse or pulling the dash apart?

Have a friend, (or in-law) someone you're not too fond of, stand in front of the truck while you honk the horn and have them pinpoint it for you.

    So you found it? I just learned that it is on the driver's side and is hard to find. Since the truck is new replacement may be a warranty item if it went bad.

Chevy silverado where is the horn relay
It depends if it is a classic or new style Silverado. Both were made in 2007. If it is a classic Silveradothere is a replaceable relay in the under hood fuse block. If it is a new style Silverado the horn relay is part of the printed circuit board that is only available with UBEC (under hood bussed electrical center).

Put new after market rear bumper on my 2002 chevy Silverado 2500hd and my new license plate light has one wire and old light has 2 wire so I just connected the hot wire to new light and now my rear tail...
Check for that fuse in a fuse panel under the dash.
That second wire from the old light is a ground wire, whereas the new light's socket is case grounded if there is no ground wire for the light. If the fuse for the tail lights is good, check if the tail lights lost a ground .

What fuse is the horn fuse
Under Hood on top left front tire wheel wheel there is a fuse box. Snap off the top and locate on panel, it should be a 15 amp fuse.
