SOURCE: cigarette lighter not working, already changed fuse

Look in your manual for the Power Distribution Box reference in Roadside Emergencies. It should be located under the hood on the driver's side. My 2002 Explorer has two power points on the center console and the 20A fuses in the Power Distribution Box for them are number 7 and number 9. They cost $3.99 each at AutoZone. The cigar lighter fuse under the dash is unrelated.

Where does cigarette lighter fuse go on a 2010 ford focus

The cigarette lighter/power outlets on a 2010 Ford Focus are referred to as, "power points." The are two power points on this vehicle, designated as power point 1 and power point 2. Power point 1 is powered by fuse #15 (20A) while power point 1 is powered by fuse #3 (20A), both of which are located in the battery junction box at the left rear of the engine compartment. Cigarette lighter doesn't work

either the push in part of the lighter is bad a fuse has blown or the actual socket has burned out. check the fuse first if it is good then get behind the lighter and check to see if there is power to the lighter. if there is then replace the lighter assembly while your there. hope this helps

Is the cigarette lighter also the plug for cell phone charger?

The cigarette lighter plug should also work for the phone charger as long as the phone charger uses the cigarette lighter style plug(long with two metal contacts on the sides and a button contact on the tip). Most standard car chargers will fit both cigarette and auxillary style plugs.

Charger through cigarette lighter will not work, fuse seems ok

First using multimeter check if there's voltage at the cigarette lighter slot as if there is then the problem is in charger, otherwise check for continuity of Cigarette lighter wiring
