I meant it quit pulling i cut the car off waited about 5 r 10 seconds granked it back up in neutral put back in drive started pulling like a new 1 4 about 5 miles same thing over and over can u explai

timing is off 180 degrees,find number 1 piston,find top dead center,pull off distributor cap and see if it lines up with number 1 plug,if its off,pull distributor and place back in correct position

Hi, Seems that the SKIM (Security Key Immobilizer Module). Try locking and unlocking drivers door, sounds like security system was triggered. If unlocking and locking door does nothing locate (ECU) fuse, (Main) fuse, and (IOD) fuse. If so pull fuses turn key to on position do not start, wait 3 to 5 minutes install fuses and try starting. Please also check battery connections for clean and secure.

Have your power supply to the engine control module (computer) checked.

There are many things that can cause this, a bad transmission pump or torque converter, restarting the engine helps it because you are stopping the flow of oil and then restarting it oil starts to flow again and increase pressure as you accelerate ,
Another problem could be in the vanes of the torque converter with the same concept when you shut it down and restart it.

You would need a ****** shop to check pressure and put scan tool on it to watch readings, and last it may be low on fluid or internal leakage causing loss of pressure.

o2 sensor

i put a new grank senor on and its doing the same thing starts fine for to seconds then die

Ok here is a long shot but sometimes it will work. Put the 4wd position switch to 4wd Lo, put your transmission in reverse and back up for about 50 yards, stop and put your transmission in neutral, then shift the 4wd to 4wd hi, wait a few seconds and shift the 4wd to 2wd hi, Sometimes the t-case will get stuck and this is how you reset the computer. I have known people that really got their t-cases messed up because they thought that shift on the go meant that they could shift the t-case into 4wd LO while moving but shift on the go is only for 4wd hi the gears will not mesh up fast enough for 4wd LO because the ratio is 1 to 1 . try turning key swicth on and off several times if you replaced fuel filter it may have to reprime its self turn key on let pump run turn off turn on again do it 4 or 5 times might help

Its the electronic shift control located just under the battery ontop the transmission replace or repair will solve the issue

it'll go into drive but once it reaches 1500 rpm it'll drop into neutral as a safety because at this rpm it is being told to shift gear and when it fails to do so it safely goes into neutral

it will go into reverse just fine and park and you can run all the low drive gears until you reach 1500 rpm then it'll cut it off

i pulled mine out re soldered bad components on the board to fix it but im an electronics engineer it may be easier for you to just replace it

I have the same problem with my bimmer.To find out if the fuel pump problem take fuel pump out and get something kinda nock on the pump put it back in and start the car. It will run but not 1 or 2 days it will die again. You know that mean.Replace the pump.
