SOURCE: When in park or idle it jerks back and forth

It sounds to me like you may have a blown intake gasket, which is very common on the 3800 V6 engines used in these cars, as for your power steering, the resevoir is located bellow the alternator on the back side of the engine ( it will be directly behind the pulley driven by the drive belt)

SOURCE: Car wants to stall while driving

Check for trouble codes first thing, It could be a number of things. example, mass air flow sensor, map sensor, crank sensor, ignition module. Check for codes first to see if there are any. That will help you get on the right track

SOURCE: runs fine for awhile than door lock stop working

look under the carpet on drivers and passenger sides for the ground blocks.
turn edge of carpet next to door over close to front and there is a metal plate with a bunch og ground wires that need to be cleaned for a good connection.

SOURCE: car runs for 30 min

Not the crank sensor. It is the coil. Coils are nothing but a coil of copper wire. When the heat comes up the copper wire expands and causes the wire to come apart. When it cools it shrinks back and the car will start again.

Have a 2.5 t3 microbus vw driving 4 20 minutes it starts to jerk& smokes black, it clears & drives fine but reoccurs replaced fueldistributor, relay, pump&filter no change. What could the problem be?

possible cure would be to put petrol through and clear a sludge that's built up. run the engine for 10 mins on tick over. failing that check timing. ex recon engineer. retired

Fuel issue

Yes, and it could also be an ignition problem. Or a sensor problem like a coolant temp sensor.
Can you let it idle for 20 min and duplicate the event ?
Is the check engine light on ?

1985 Toyota pickup 22r non cali emissions ( Drives then dies no fuel in carb)

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the rubber fuel lines being old and cracked. The hoses would warm up and fuel would squirt out of the cracks. I had to replace three fuel line hoses and it has been running great ever since. Good luck.

Starts fine when cold, after running dies on idle then wont start

Sounds like the fuel filter is dirty and needing to be changed. It's cheap and easy to swap out.

2003 Expedition jerking/cutting out.

Had same problem: cutting out at low rpm, jerking, a huge clunk or shudder at higher speed (like transmission was going out), and rough idle. All these symptoms were intermittent.

CHECK THE FUEL FILTER!! Changed the fuel filter and thing runs fine!!

PS mine 2003 expedition has 105k
