Jeep Grand Cherokee 2000 Limited 6cylinders Wierd Noise

A Jeep is not a computer or a speaker. But, try and check the fluid level in your transmission. If that doesn't work ask again in the correct category.

Could be low on oil, or need a shot of additive if it is a limited slip differential.
The noise may be the clutches in the diff or one of the axle bearings.

It maybe a loose heatsheild on the manifold, converter, or underbody heatsheild.

Is it full time or part time 4 wheel drive? You should check the front driveshaft u-joints.

Sounds like a loose belt, Depending on what engine etc., it may need to be changed or if you have adjustment, tightened. When adjustment or replacement done, is a good time to check all pulleys. If your not up to it, an adjustment should not cost too much, few minutes work in most cases, if belt needs changing, price of belt & a little more labor involved.

Check your power steering fluid level, and system for leaks. May be a bad p/s pump as well. Hope this helps
