Are the battery connections clean and tight? If so,have someone use a test light, and put it on the starter post while youre trying to start the car. If it is getting voltage, and the light comes on,then you have a bad starter. If youre NOT getting voltage, then most likely you have a bad starter relay.
Good Luck!

the starter should be replaced. The solenoid is kikcing the pinion out but there is no contact being made to turn the starter motor. I have the exact same truck and before i changed the starter used the old starter tap trick. Tap the starter casing with a hammer and it should start turning again. hope this was helpful for you. Good luck.
SOURCE: wont start or engine turn
that sounds like ur starter, but b4 u change that chk the solenoid, that could be the problem and its cheaper to.
SOURCE: (ENGINE won't TURNOVER) Just a "click" then nothing...
The reason car batteries do that is because the battery only runs your accessories and starts the car. The alternator runs the vehicle and charges the battery once it is started. If the battery is failing the charge provided by the alternator runs your accessories and the leftovercharge is displaced into the dead battery.

Thanks everyone. I tried Roberts test, and I had voltage. Pulled the starter, took it and had it tested. BINGO - Bad starter. Thanks everyone, I'm up and running again. On another note: When the hell did starter prices go so high?
Lol.....they usually run around $130-150 range.
