SOURCE: 2004 nissan altima key code

You have to take it to the dealer to get the new key programmed. Try holding the old key near the ignition switch and see if it will start. That way at least you could drive it to the dealer instead of paying for a tow truck.

Sounds like you could possibly have a faulty ignition control module, which is mounted on the side of the distributor. When these modules get old they break-down when they get hot.

2009 Altima won't excelerate after long drive time

You have a CVT in the 2009 Altima so there are no true gears. Any noise you hear could be the belt breaking down or the transmission going belly up. Have you had the fluid changed? If not, I suggest you go to a repair shop and get it done. Nissan CVT are notorious at breaking down and typical cost about 4K USD to repair.

Replace your hose going from intake to brake booster ( vacuum leak) check all other hoses also. Clean the throttle body. And a tune up probably wont hurt either.

Why does my break pedal leak air?

You have a bad seal in your break booster unit,, just behind your master break cylinder is a big roung doughnut looking thing, this unit works off vacume from the engine, it helps you push down on the break peddle so its not so tuff to stop! well on that booster unit there is a seal that keeps the unit from loosing vacume past the rod leading into your break peddle, sounds like this seal is leaking vacume .. you can replace this unit your self if you want to tackle it, its going to be some work to replace and you should probley have the manual on this truck to do the work.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Non working brake lights in Nissan Altima

make sure the button is working, it may need to be replaced. with your foot off the brake peddle, it is on upper part of brake peddle arm. when you let off brake peddle it pushes button in to shut lights off. it may just be stuck in, spray a little lubracant on it if it's stuck and push in manually several times to loosen.

Nissan altima starting problem

i think replacing the sensor is in order. i know all car makes have "recalibration updates" for the ecm and should be done, but have rarely fixed vehicles on just that alone. and your symptoms suggest the sensor could be intermittently bad
