SOURCE: replace radiator fan motor? where 2 buy cheap online?

Well, Is the overheat due to the fan? To confirm it is, get the vehicle above 35 mph and see if it still heats up.If it does, the fan is "not guilty"If the temp drops and then goes up under35, the fan . The effect of the fan on cooking is onlyat low speed or idle. Above 35 mph, the fan is negated by the ram air across the radiator. If the temp rises above 35, then it is more than likely a thermostat. Good luck

My jeep 2000 Grand Cherokee Larado is over heating. I have changed the thermostat and coolant. The fan seems to stop turning when it over heats. What can be causing the fan to stop when it should be...

Replace the cooling fan clutch. It is the silverish round device that the fan attaches to. This component is heat sensitive and will only function correctly when hot. They are known to fail over time. Also inspect the radiator for good coolant flow. DO THIS when engine is cold only or have a shop check it out for you.
