No power to the heater/ac control of our 89 chevy silverado

The heater quit blowing warm air for a couple of days and then lost all power to the heat/ac control panel

    i have a 92 with the same issue....no lights on at all at the control unit in the dash, checked with a circut tester and i have power in 3 different wires to the harness.....got a used one from a U Pull kinda place, but no joy there...either not compatable, or the used one was busted too, or somedamnthing else....any infor would be great

    I have a 1989 Silverado with the same problem, I checked the fuse and power is going to the control board. Control board for AC/heater just will not switch on....Tried a control board from a u-pull-it and same thing....

IF YOUR BLOWER MOTOR IS GOOD AND FUSE IS GOOD TO AC/HEAT THAN THE CONTROL BOARD IS NO GOOD

    Amazing! this is quite an on going problem and very common yet no one has an answer, the dealer probably has a builtin on it but they wont tell you until you ask, if they want to, I have the same problem and everything checks out but still nothing, very frustrating! what the f@#k is going on?????

2015 Chevy camero ac quit working, its not blowing cold air
Probably lost freon and now it won't cool. The system needs to be vacuum and pressure tested to find the leak and fix. It could be a seal on the compressor or a leak in a hose or condenser. You should see some oil leaking from the system where the leak is.

2004 Chevy Silverado AC is blowing warm air on passenger side.
You have dual zones that are controlled by temperature actuators the passenger side has lost its memory or has gone bad you can put it in self programming by disconnecting the battery for ten minutes then hook it back up start the truck turn the temperature control on but do not touch any other controls let it go thru the self programming for about 6 to 7 minutes then select your temperature you want if it still does not work properly you may have a bad actuator or a bad connection at the actuator

Heater blows cold air ac blows warm air
Your problem is the air temp control blend door actuator is defective and not controlling temp u set. to change/access this part the dash assembly must be removed from the car.

Blowing cold air
I had the same problem that I just fix by flushing the heater core out with a hose.   take the two hoses off the fire wall and put the water to it and let flush.  my heater is putting out 150 dg. F  of hot air.   I'm so excited!  i will stay warm now.
