Many bikes have a sensor switch attached to the stand to prevent starting if the bike is on the stand
if the stand fell of , it may have broken the wires or pulled the sensor apart

SOURCE: took off this morning and the escape started

you are right, its probably the fuel filter. wow 113120 miles without changing the fuel filter. also, change the air filter and have your intake manifold cleaned. this will greatly improve acceleration and fuel economy. best wishes - hotratchet

SOURCE: Fuel ECU fuse keeps blowing (30 amp)

Your fuel pump is internally binding and causing the fuse to blow. Change the pump (and filter while you're back there.)

SOURCE: oily spark plug, changed plugs now car smokes

You changed 6 coils, but you didn't change spark plugs? The new coils give strong spark to burn off resisdues from your old plugs plus what ever left inside the combustion due to bad old coils causing smoke and bad ordor. Change all new spark plugs so you can have good ignition to burn off all junks inside combustion chambers. Smokes are at the beginning, but it will go away after less than 10 minutes.
If it is not going away you may have other problemS:
Rich mixture causing engine check light come on.
Check if engine oil level.
Check if your coolant level.
Open the oil cap to see if you have milky stuff. If there is milky stuff then you have bad head gasket.
Let me know what is coming out so others can learn from your experience. Good luck.

SOURCE: I have had a Check Engine Light on my dash for a

I agree with phillyboy. Don't buy a compression gauge though. Pay a garage to check your compression. $40 or so.There are three rings on a piston, a compression ring, an oil ring and another compression ring. If your rings have failed on cylinder 4, that would explain the oil on the spark plug. The oil that is building up on the spark plug is probably causing the misfire and subsequent code.

I think your problem might be your fuel relay which is situated next to the fuse box in the engine compartment.

A couple of weeks ago, my tag lights went out. Wasn't the bulbs, so my dad ran a hotwire from a tail light to the tag lights to keep them on. A couple days ago, my AC stopped working. Not blowing any...

The dash lights take a feed from the tail circiut, may be a corroded connector, pinched wire somewhere. The blower problem likely not related, maybe bad blower motor or resistor.

Won't start

Sounds like either your battery is dying/dead or your starter has gone. You can take either or both to AutoZone and have them checked to see which has gone bad. They will check this for free. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for using FixYa!
