I need to replace the fan belt. Which pulleys does it go around?

I have a 1994 Land Rover Discovery V8i, and the fan belt has snapped. I have a replacement, but I need confirmation of which pulleys to place the replacement fan belt round. Thanks for your help.

Hi there,

My brother in law and I changed it without taking anything apart except the fan cover, what you'll need to do is gently use a crobar to release the tensioner pully directly below the alternator, and jam it a bit, then slowly release the old belt, if it's as worn as mine was you'll be fine. Then simply run the new belt starting from the bottom up. There's a great diagram on the weblink below.

Hello! The 1994 models featured larger headlamps and a second set of rear lights in the bumper. Some vehicles are left with an arrangement where the vulnerable bumper contains the only working lights. The rear side lights in the light cluster become non-operational...

the easiest and in-expensive way would be to go to your local library. You should find what your looking for in the auto reference section. Or, you can buy the publications on ebay, at Auto Zone, or O'Reallies.
