check your dash light fuse. It is called an instrument cluster light fuse.
your ford parts department will tell you the location of your fuse box and what the symbol for the dash light fuse looks like.

The brake light fuse for this 1992 Lincoln continental is located in the fuse box located on the driver side of the dash.You will need to look under the dash on driver side. i have enclosed a picture diagram of the fuse box and i have circled the brake light fuse.This fuse is in slot location # 1 and uses a 15 amp fuse. hope this is helpful. any other problems let me know, good day.

maybe you replaced the wrong fuse. or the dash light bulbs are blown,not very likely that all blown at once so you may have only replaced the wrong fuse. if you do not have fuse location,then check them all. under dash drivers side fuse panel. you'r main engine fuses are located under the hood but have nothing to do with your dash lights. hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com

They should all be on the same circuit so I' check the fuses 1st.

Locate the dash illimunation lights by locating the fuse box and locating the fuse for the dash illumination lights or lights. There you can hook 'taps' into the fuse box to get current from that circuit.

The fuse block is located on the leftside of the dash behind the dash, the fuse is located in slot #8 here a diagram of the fuses and there locations.

I looked in a Haynes manual and it showed a 20 amp fuse controlling the the dash/ taillights. I t sould be in the fuse block under the the driver's side dash. If you have your owners manual, there should be a fuse locator diagrahm to help you locate the right 20 amp fuse. Remember usually when your dash lights are out so are your tail lights.
