My 2006 Nissan Titan with an 5.6L engine suddenly shuts down while driving down the road. It does not sputter out the engine just shuts down all of a sudden while driving just like it would if you tur

There could be a problem with the security system or the main computer could have a burnt spot or a crack in the board. Had an issue a few years back with a Dodge Dakota will run fine when a computer got hot it would shut down. I would take it and have it put on a scanner to see if there is any codes then go from there

My 02 eclipse shut off while driving and wont start now. I turn the key and it tries to start but wont. My friend said it might be the fuel pump or the relay but we couldnt find the fuel pump relay.

- to check fuel pump/relay- with drivers door open - radio off - insert key and turn from OFF to RUN-not start- should hear a hum from under car back towards tank- relay is under hood in second fuse/relay panel
? did you hit a bump just before car shut off? - if so look in manual for location of EMERGENY FUEL CUTOFF- usually in trunk area- large red push button- can trip sometimes with a hard enough jolt

Gas was low car shut off while driving put gas

It sounds like your fuel pump relay needs to be replaced. $10.00 part at AutoZone.

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse won't start. Came home from work parked the car no problems at all. Few hours later went out to leave and it won't start. Just out of the blue. I was able to jump start it. No...

Battery is dead... get a volt meter, jump the car and with the car running on its own power check the voltage, anything less than 12v could point to an alternator but a new battery is a better place to start. put it to you this way if the car shuts off while driving, then its your alt, and if its fine wen drivin but wont start back up... its all battery

My 2002 eclipse wont start, it was running just fine , but when i went to get tires on it , it was put back down and didnt want to start .

Could have been jacked up at wrong location at crimped the fuel line. Or the car's fuel shut-off switch my have been tripped. Hope this info is helpful. Good luck
