Chrysler code 11 61 55

This code is set when the transmission control module detects improper voltage at the torque converter clutch. This can be caused by low tranny fluid/dirty tranny fluid/defective torque converter clutch solenoid/electrical connections to from solenoid

There is no fuel filter that the car owner can replace as a maintenance part. The only filter is a sock filter in the gas tank.

Next time it happens make a note of the actual code or codes.

Battery probably not the problem. If it is stalling while driving, is there a service engine soon or check engine light that goes on before it stalls? If so, there is likely a code or codes stored in the computer that should point you in the correct 'sensor' direction, or tell you why it is stalling.

The searing stalls and will not start right.This can be cause by low fuel pressure problem or bad timing belt or problem with ECM(the cars computer) it self.Also if you notice that check engine light is coming on and remaining steady ON,then get the car scanned to retrieve the error codes.That error code will point towards the fault causing this problem. Whenever the 'CHECK ENGINE' (Service Engine Soon) light comes on, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). These codes identify the particular engine management system which caused the light to come on.
You'll need to use/find an OBDII (On-Board Diagnostic) Scanner to retrieve any code which have been stored in the ECU computer. Afterward, we might be able to help you DIAGNOSE the problem and perhaps eventually fix the problem.
Go to www.hmaservice.com and register( Vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you have access to shop manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, etc. about your vehicle.Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

If the check/service engine light is on, take the car to an autoparts store and have them scan the vehicle's computer for any fault code(s) that are stored there. Is the check engine light on? If so, have the fault codes read with a scan tool. Most autoparts stores provide this service at no charge. It sounds to me like a faulty throttle position sensor, but it could be something else. The codes will tell you more surely where to begin looking. Hope this helped.
