My radio in my 2002 chevy cavalier work turn on

Check the radio fuse? Box is drivers side end of dash(drivers door open)or pass side end of dash(passenger door open)
police models have a connection for the speakers (passenger floorboard under floor mat) to connect the speakers to the police radios.
If they had the speakers connected to their radios,they may have unhooked them and not connected them back to the radio.
The wires are brown,grey,blue and light blue.All into a blue connector.

Are you using the original key that came with the car? The chip in that key may have gone bad. Try using the spare key that should have come with the purchase of the car. You may also be having battery issues. If all else fails....call the people who really know how to rape you...DUM Dum dummmmm....the dealer

MAKE SURE THAT THE DIMMER SWITCH IS NOT TURNED ALL THE WAY DOWN. IF IT CHECKS OUT, THEN CHECK THE FUSE FOR THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS. hi, the problem you are describing sounds like the starter motor has packed up or a wire might have even come off the back of the starter if your sure the battry is fully charged then the chances are the problem is with the starter motor, that is where i would start looking anyway

Find where the throttle cable goes the the throttle body. Now on the opposite side of the throttle body is the TPS 3 wires/plug.
