It sounds like your passenger air mix actuator is broken. I believe many LeSabre's have seperate driver/passenger air control.

SOURCE: 1999 Buick Regal drivers side AC blows hot

The battery change and the problem, may coindental or maybe not, your air regulator door actuator is probably stripped our just worn out, the regulator is attached to the damper that controls the drivers side air over the two coils. shouldn't be to hard to locate, but will require laying on your back and removing the under dash panel. it will probably be a small rectangular shaped module mount to the duct at a damper door! i hope this helps, if you want exact instructions they can be found at alldatadiy.com for 20 bucks. Merry Christmas!

  • Assumed your AC unit is OK, but uneven temperature distribution. Try to throw the heater on an off severtime. A sticky valve on the heater would cause similar problem.
  • Observe the RPM while parking your car. While the AC cut in cut out (or turn on an off). If it cause no load on the engine. The freon may be low or the compressor is bad. In this case only the intake side of the evaporator is cooler than the other side.

SOURCE: 2003 buick lesabre AC problem

You have to find the motor that controls the blend door and open it manually to find out which one is bad there are 3 blend doors on the HV/AC system one will be where the heater core is. The other will be between the vented air and AC? heating system then the third door will operate vents in dash and defrost condition. If you have someone operate them AC system heating system and watch the blend door motors, the one you find not moving will be the one that has the problem. They have vacuum and electrical motors, if it is a acuum motor you can move the door manually with your hand, if it's electric you will have to disconnect the rod by removing the pinch clip off of the rod.

The ac vent blows out hot air on the drivers side ,and the passenger side vent blows out cold air what could cause this problem on my 2001 buick century

its probably the actuator. its usually located under the dash in the center. you might be able to get to it by removing the glove box and looking to the drivers side. its a black box that has a wire connector on it. switch your heater control from hot to cold and you should here it click. replace it and i bet your problem is solved

Well i have a 2001 S80 my AC is blowing cool on the passager side and hot on the driver side what can i do to fix it.

You will need to replace the Acuator for the Internal Baffle inside your dash for the Driver's side A/C vent. The Actuator is not opening or closing the baffle to give you hot or cold air.

2001 bmw 325i only blows cold on driver side and hot on passager

hey ic, sounds like your refrigerant is low. if you have a low charge it will usually get you slight cool air on the driver's side. have the system checked and make sure you have a full charge. also, be careful about running it low on charge, the refrigerant has oil in it that keeps the compressor lubricated.
