Hello
The
Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual
transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically
controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control
Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or
other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a
record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this,
like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor
for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read
these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a
special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform
the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s)
DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED
THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT
MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always check fuel pressure for
correct spec for your make and engine type.

If you hear a slight hum in the gas tank when you first turn on the key for 2 seconds the pump is working. Have the fuel pressure checked by a mechanic, it should be about 60 psi. It's usually located just before the injectors. Also have each injector wire pulse checked (light test) to see if there is enough spark to them. Have the ICM Ignition Control Module unit located under the rotor checked for enough spark also. My Trans Am had the same problem, turned out to be a shorted out injector causing it not to fire. If you can get to the wires to the injectors, pull one at a time while cranking to see if it starts or not. If you find that one that's faulty and unplugged the engine will start. That would be one problem. Also have the cars CPU checked to make sure it is not faulty also.

Check the ignition coil, olso what year is the car

Hi there;
I understand you have lost the use of the driver controled electrical in your E320. I have been through this before.
These cars have many, many, many, electrical controlers(computors). It sounds like youare having an issue with the drivers door controler, this is the controler that processes all of the comands from the drivers seat. What happens is, when you turn on your lights the comand confuses the controler it can only "think" about that one comand & it forgets all about the other commands.
The best way to tell if this is indeed the issue is to locate the fuse block under the hood directly in front of the driver. Find fuse #16, remove this fuse for about 1 min. then reinstall it. this should "reboot" that computer. This is basicly the same thing as disconnecting the battery only you are isolating the drivers door computer. If thisa works you will have everything working again untill you turn your lights on again. Also if this works you will need to have the drives door computor replaced to correct the issue. This not a cheep fix but unfortunately the only one.
Good luck, I hope this helps.
Farrout!

hello, good day, first we are in fuel side, better to install a fuel gauge,to determine the right pressure, is not mention your fuel pump relay, this should also check, some occasion the power supply is missing, now if all is in order (fuel side) then your switching unit(transistor box) need tobe check, assuming your engine is 103 engine,ty
