It ran hot for a couple of days and I would wait til it cooled down and put water in it while engine running and it continued to start. Well a couple of days ago it ran hot and the engine light came on. I pulled over, let it cool down, as usual, put water in the radiator, while engine still on, and the engine starts shaking really bad, so I stopped adding water and turned the engine off. When I immediately tried to start it again,..it wouldnt start. Its trying to turn over but it wont. It kinda gives a "die-down" type of noise as though the battery is dying, but it even does this when I connect it to jumper cables and another car. I realize that my head gaskets could be blown or the head warped. I could use a sealant to correct this problem but how do I get it started so that I can use the sealant,.....HEEEELLLLLLP!!
Remove the spark plugs and turn the engine over could be the head gasket if so the stop leak additive is a tempory soloution to a perminent problem. replace head gasket
