Check if your power steering is belt controlled or electronic controlled.check If is belt controlled the see whether the belt still on the pulley not went off. If is electronic controlled then the motor might be the fault or the angle sensor is not working etc. Ask a qualified electrician to help. As regards the speed 60km/h is like safe mode comes on and allowed you to drive it slowly to the garage for repair.

SOURCE: steering wheel of my Toyota Corolla LE 2007 vivrates

Hello. A vibration in the steerign wheel indicates an issue with the front tires. They are either out of balance, and would need to be rebalanced, or it is possible (although remotely) that the tire(s) may be compromised (after hitting a pothole), the belts in the tire may be corrupted. What I would suggest is to take the car to a reputable tire place, and get the balance checked. While the tire is on the balancer, the Tech will be able to see if the tire is out-of-round due to possible road damage. Probably just a tire balance problem. Thanks for choosing FixYA for assistance.

SOURCE: 2003 Toyota Corolla Wheel Alignment

The specs are what the manufacturer recommends for the vehicle when it leaves the factory. However that means with the original tires and condition. The caster is not adjustable on a Corolla, so if the vehicle pulls even with the tires switched, there is a possibility there is damage to the strut or steering parts. However, before changing anything, check all tire pressures and make sure the brakes are in good condition. A brake that is not releasing properly will cause a pull to that side. Individual toe is rather meaningless - the total toe is what is measured. You have no king pins on a Toyota so you will not have KPI.

SOURCE: how difficult is it to

Front wheel drive. Changing the rear bearings is easy. The speed sensor should be easy as it can be located on the transmission and changed from the outside in most cases. For both jobs I recommend the Haynes repair manual on your vehicle.

SOURCE: replace steering wheel of toyota corolla 1990 model

The steering shaft has splines that allow the steering wheel to be positioned correctly with the front wheels.
Try tapping behind the streering wheel with a hammer to loosen so you can pull the steering wheel off.
If this does not work then you need a wheel puller to pull the steering wheel off the steering shaft.

Where is the radio fuse in 2001 Toyota corolla

Up under the dash in line with the steering wheel. There is a cover on it so you can't see the fuses. It is the most difficult location of any Toyota I have ever worked on.

Toyota corolla 2000 japan... p/s appearing on dash board and then the steering is difficult to turn and also the speed can't go above 80km/h

Check whether your power steering system is working with belt and the belt probably split and it doesn't work. If it is electronic steering controlled, the is a different story, check first what is it and if is the second option then you need a qualified mechanic to help. Reason of dropping the speed to 80km/h is like the vehicle got into safe mode to drive it slowly to an authorized garage for repair.

You can find the fuse box, under the steering wheel. Remove the plastic cover, and look on the back for the diagram to see which fuse to replace for the dash board lights.

Blew a fuse that powers radio/clock/lighter in 2004 Toyota Corolla. Cannot find the fuse responsible. Where should I look? The box under the hood? or the Box under the steering wheel? Any idea what #fuse?

there is a fuse box under the dash on the drivers side. it is very hard to reach. it is located above your left knee when you are seated in the drivers seat. lay on your back, look up under the dash, use flashlight. The lid for the fuse box has a diagram showing which fuse goes to the radio.

2005 Toyota Corolla Radio fuse

Pg. 250 of your 2005 Owner's Manual shows the location of the Fuse Boxes. There is one under your hood on the driver's side and the other is under the dash just to the left of steering wheel. Pg 272, will show you how to replace the fuses. Pg. 286-287 gives a diagram and description of each fuse and what part of the electrical system it enables.
This portion of the electrical system correspondeds to the fuse in position 32 on pg. 287 of the manual.
Your going to have to get on your back with a flashlight and open up the fuse box under the dash by the steering wheel. The lid of the fuse box shows the positions of the fuse and their amperage rating. Like I said, replace the fuse in postion 32 (15 Amp). There is a spare 15 Amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood (easy to get to, see the diagrams in the owner's manual). There is also a fuse puller tool next to the spare fuses.
