Fuel pump not getting power f150 1999 4.6L V8

I try to start my truck but it wont turn over. I have a brand new fuel pump installed. Everything is working fine as far as battery, alt, ignition. The only thing not getting power is my fuel pump. I had an old fuel pump that i replaced with a new one from autozone, as soon as i got the new fuel pump installed the truck ran for 5 mins then all the sudden it shut down on the highway but all my electronics were on.

Check the connections for power with a test light. If your getting power to the pump and it doesn't work then it is bad (new or not)

SOURCE: fuel pump wont come on

If it comes back on after you tap the dist box, it's most likely the relay. The realy is green and mounted below the dist box.

No power in my fuel pump fuel relay for fuel pump

Get yourself a wiring diagram & study it & then
start testing the fuel circuit

How would you know whether you had power or
now power, to anything, working blindly?

You listen to what your told.
I wouldn't-- you may have changed a good fuel pump

I NEVER walk to any vehicle without a wiring diagram

How would you learn the system & the circuits, without one?

2001 LINCOLN LS WILL CRANK BUT WONT START EVERYTHING IS WORKING FUEL PUMP IS NOT GETTING POWER TO IT FUEL PUMP WORKS FINE ALL FUSES GOOD ALARM LIGHT ON DASH FLASHES WHEN TRYING TO START

If the alarm light is blinking, then the issue could be with the vehicle immobilizer or key. The key may need rematching to the vehicle's ECU, which will need reprograming by the manufacturer service centre.

98 gmc savana 350 v8 was running then sputtered would not go turned off now wont start i checked and replaced fuel filter still no luck it will start with starting fluid but wont stay running

sounds like a fuel problem. could be a fuel shut off switch, fuel pump relay, fuel pump. Possible bad electrical plug connection to pump

I replaced fuel pump and fuel filter but car still wont start. it will only crank if i keep putting starting fluid in it. what would be the problem?

bad fuel pump, loose wiring, blown fuse, or bad fuel pump relay. don't think just because a fuel pump is brand new out of the box it's good. i got an A/C delco fuel pump, installed it in the customers truck tried to start it .... nothing. checked all wiring, grounds, fuse, relay etc. everything was good. pulled the pump back out of the tank and wired it direct to a battery and it did nothing. got another pump installed worked just fine.

I have a 1988 Chevy K2500, V8-350 cu. in with TBI. I have fire, but there is no fire running to the fuel pump. There is a new fuel pump relay installed and the fuse is also good. Truck ran fine, then...

Oil pressure switch puts power to the pump after it is started.

Pumps also tend to loose their ground with age. I often splice in a new ground at the pump to eliminate that problem area.

Need some votes, thanks

I have a 91 s-10 that wont run...fuel pump runs and I am getting fuel to the carb all brand new plugs and wires and ignition coil and module and new cap and rotor? fires up and dies out?

The fuel pump relay is at fault. The engine will start running off the oil pressure sensor for the 3rd wire connected to the sensor feeds power to the fuel pump which makes your truck start right up. When the engine achomplish the standard oil pressure as needed the sensor shuts power off by the PCM default system and turns on the fuel pump relay to continue working the fuel pump. replace the relay and you will be driving around again
