Adjust the gear shift cable so that the park position sensor will move to the right position then it will crank. Right now it thinks it is engaged in some gear.

did you try the distributor I just had the same problem with my acura and I changed the sensor and it did not work.

get a good used trans from junkyard a swap yourself is the only cheap fix for something like that

take the pan off and check the reverse boost valve clip on the front drum and make sure the clip did not pop out of the groove. thats usually the problem or it can be your sunshell that either cracked or something.

You could have made a small problem bigger. When you change the torque converter, you have to fill it first. You then need to replace the seals that are on the shaft. The first tranny had a bad clutch pack.
