SOURCE: After checking all of the signal light bulbs on a 2007 BMW 550i, it still has the fast flasher sign and sound coming from the dash no matter whether I turn the lever left or right.

Have any of the turn signal bulbs been replaced lately? If so, the bulb might not be the correct number for the car

Microfilter
The microfilter is an electrostatically charged filter that captures dust and pollen particles (down to 5 microns) that normally are drawn into the passenger compartment through the ventilation system. It is similar to the filter that you have in your home AC unit. Just like your house filter your BMW's microfilter should be changed also. The recommended interval is at every inspection #1 and #2. However, if your AC smells musty or you have decreased blower fan volume change it sooner.

Sounds like its missing on one cylinder. Could be a failed plug or a blocked injector, or something more serious.

Call your dealer, who will likely suggest that you bring or more likely tow the car to them.

The dealer can scan the ECU for a fault code which will point to an accurate diagnosis.

That is what it is supposed to do the car goes faster? Well thats the kick down working, in other words the gearbox is shifting down so you can over take traffic.

My BMW 550 stutters when I start the car.Especially in the cold. I don't know if it is just a cold thing or because the fuel is 10% ethanol.
ethenol is an issue but these cars are known to shake a little when started, also make sure your battery is fully charged, if so there is software that can be updated to the car
