Hesitation and poor acceleration, now stalling

Started about 2 months. Brought to mechanic and diagnostic test said knock sensor and something about stuck cylinder. It was like riding a mechanical bull on Friday, and finally stopped running. After an hour it would start up again. Told it may be the knock sensor along with a clogged fuel injector.

SOURCE: knock sensor

To fix the knock sensor, they have to take apart half the engine (not the exhaust) to get to it and it takes about 4 hours.

The knock sensor is never bad and it costs @ $500 to change. Have to remove top half of engine. I suspect you need to clean the optical cam sensor under the distributor cap or change the oxygen sensor. Here is a site where we help each other with Villager Qust problems.

SOURCE: 2000 Cougar - Car hesitates, acts like no gas getting to it,

you may need to use a high octane gas to clean your injectors and replace the inline gas filter as this should cure the problem. On the wiper blades that is more than likeley the relay switch that is connected to them it should be located near the firewall on the driverside.

I started having a problem about a month ago. My 2003 Mercury Grand marquis LSE tuned up at 100k currently 145k. started hesitating and slight bucking at cruise speed. I went to autozone and coded #8...

A misfire can be related to a number of causes. Since the coil and spark plug were replaced and it did not solve this issue, it is most likely related to the circuit for the number 8 cylinder. A thorough inspection of the electrical circuit is what is required next. Also, engine compression will need to be tested on that cylinder as well as cylinder number 6 that is next to it. Vacuum leak around the intake port of the number 8 cylinder could also be a cause and will need to be checked.

The car wont excelerate and i know all is fine with everything except a sensor and i knowits not the o2 sensor whats the other one called?

If you have a bad sensor, it should store a trouble code in the onboard diagnostic computer. Have it scanned for codes to narrow the problem down. There is no point to guessing. if no scanner then most auto parts store will scan for free. advanced auto, auto zone, etc. check to be sure fuel filter is not plugging up. maf sensor symtoms, poor running, stalling, check engine light should be on. lack of power, spark knock/detonation, buck/****, hesitation on acceleration, also hard shifts. check fuel filter first !! if you need more info. just let me know.

Engine running rough

It sounds like maybe yu have a fuel filter that getting plugged up.
To check this, see if you can remove it from the engine, then very carefully blow thru it in the direction the fuel travels, if clean you should be able to blow thru it easily, if not then replace.
The P132 is (E132) .................. Knock Sensor Circuitry Failure .... The knock sensor is what prevent engine ping from low octane. ...
It could also be you just got some bad gas.
You also might try topping off the tank with gas from another place and bring the octane level up if that is the problem.
Hope this helps
Good luck
