It has to be a small plastic wing on the back or engine side
of radiator done low or it will be an allen screw recessed
into the bottom on either corner

You have to be able to see the shot drain tube
below the screw or valve, get under the car

SOURCE: Flush radiator and cooling system on 1997 Calillac DeVille Concou

your radiator has a pecock on the bottom of it screw it out then you can run water through a hose behind it once it stops draining to get any residue out as far as the engine youll never truly get all of the old coolant out without tearing it down and putting it back together so flushing the radiator is just fine.

SOURCE: 1996 Cadillac Sedan Deville that overheats only when idling

The most common overheating problem with the Northstar engine is a blocked purge line(small hose). The purge line is designed to purge air out of the cooling system.
There is a small diameter hose coming from near the top of the coolant tank (not the cap) ,this is the purge line.
With the engine idling, pull the purge line from the tank,if there is no coolant flow from this small hose,it is blocked and this will cause overheating.
If the hose is clear, check for blockage at the nipple on the tank.Or trace the hose back until you find the blockage.
The hose goes in to the engine to a crossover and comes out the other side close to the thermostat housing, the blockage may be there.

Broken drain valve on radiator of 1994 Cadillac Sedan DeVille

Most of the times when these valves break they are pretty easy to get out by simply turn it with a FLAT screw driver that skinny enough to fit inside that hole. However if this is DOES NOT work a cheaper alternative is to get some JB weld or EPOXY and seal that hole shut completely there is on specifically for radiator that can with stand pressure and heat. It comes ina stick for that you have to kneed together available at AUTO ZONE. Knead together and it become warm to the touch its like play dough in texture but it dries rock hard and can be sanded even painted after it dries. To apply make sure surface is clean and dry it will dry in 15 minutes(ROCK HARD) good product. Don't worry if you sealed the drain plug up you can still drain your radiator in the future but releasing the lower radiator hose. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

BOTTOM RADIATOR HOSE

Drain all your coolant into a conatiner using the plug on the radiator, loosen and disconnct the top hose at the engine, then the bottom one at the radiator, and replace in reverse order. This is not hard to do, and just make sure your coolant is in good condition or replace it with a 50/50 mix of either the red or older green coolant. If you change the coolant to the new style (red) use a water hose and flush as best as possible, then replace with the red newer style coolant. You can use either, but you cannot mix them. They will gel up after time if mixed so with all the coolant out, it is a good time to switch to the new and when the job is complete, make sure you mark it somehow that it has the new version of coolant. A sticker with it written in permanent marker is best, but using just the permanent marker on something that can be readily seen is just as good.
